Elin Pritchard, soprano

Elin Pritchard is one of the UK’s most exciting Verdi sopranos. A breakthrough summer in 2026, as Amelia in Un ballo in maschera for Opera Holland Park and Elisabetta in Don Carlo for Grange Park Opera, has established her as a leading interpreter of the great Verdi heroines.

A distinction graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and the National Opera Studio, she combines vocal warmth and effortless technique with dramatic authority. She has sung more than twenty roles for companies including Welsh National Opera, English National Opera, Scottish Opera, Opera North, Garsington Opera, the Edinburgh International Festival and Finnish National Opera, and appears in concert with orchestras such as the Royal Philharmonic and the Dresden Philharmonic.
